For the convenience of our residents, the Town Clerk’s Office provides a large gray drop box located to the left of the main entrance doors, in the corner of the building. Residents may use the drop box to securely submit payments, applications, forms, and other Town Clerk business outside of regular office hours.  Please include a phone number on any forms/payments submitted.

In office we accept payments by cash, check, and money order. When paying by check or money order, please include a phone number in the event we need to contact you regarding your payment.

Credit and debit card payments are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please note that convenience fees apply to all card transactions.

The Town Clerk’s Office maintains official Town Board records and vital records, issues death certificates, and provides marriage, fishing, hunting, and dog licenses. The office also issues permits for disabled parking, garage sales, soliciting, yard waste facility access, waste collectors, and more.

Marriage license applications are processed by appointment only, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The Town Clerk’s Office is also a license-issuing agent for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) for fishing and hunting licenses. All DEC licenses are processed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
